Nudge Labs

    A Quick Confession

    How We're Nudging You

Yes, we've used behavioural science on this site.

Not in a manipulative way. Just enough to make things clearer, easier, and more likely to be useful.

Here are a few of the behavioural principles quietly at work, and what they're doing.

    Salience

    What it means

    People notice what stands out.

    How we used it

Key messages, outcomes, and proof points are visually prominent so you don't have to hunt for what matters. Important information is surfaced early, not buried in fine print.

    Examples on this site

Our CTA button draws your eye to the most important next step:

The animated scroll arrow guides attention downward:

    Cognitive Load Reduction

    What it means

When things feel hard to process, people disengage.

    How we used it

Short sections, clear headings, and structured layouts reduce effort. The goal is to help you understand what we do without having to work for it. We specifically tested various background colours and white backgrounds allow for the easiest, most fluent neural processing.

✓ How we actually do it

    Research
    Training
    Consulting

Clean layout. White space. One idea at a time.

    Chunking

    What it means

People process information better in small, meaningful groups.

    How we used it

Services on the home page are grouped into Learn, Apply, Build, and Scale. Case studies follow a consistent pattern. This makes complex information easier to absorb and remember.

    Example on this site

Every case study follows the same three-part structure, making each one instantly familiar:

    The Challenge

What the organisation was struggling with

    Behavioural Insight

The underlying behavioural driver we identified

    What We Changed

The intervention we designed and tested

Same structure, every time — so you can focus on the story, not the format.

    Social Proof

    What it means

We look to others to decide what's credible.

    How we used it

Selected results, awards, and outcomes are included to show how behavioural science performs in the real world, not just in theory.

    What delegates say:

"Delegates often describe his sessions as 'the best ever' — a testament to how he brings theory to life in practical, relevant, and often unexpected ways."

    And One Last Thing

None of these nudges are here to trick you.

They're here for the same reason behavioural science exists in organisations: to make good decisions easier and unnecessary friction less likely.

If it felt intuitive, clear, or easy to follow — that wasn't an accident.
